This is the seventh boss of the raid. 

The Coiled Altar is a three-phase fight with an intermission between the last two phases. The first phase deals with Zul'jan and his troubling Axegrinder casts. Once he is defeated, Hex Lord Malacrass comes down, and phase two begins. In the final phase, Malacrass links his soul with Zul'jan, and the two must be defeated together! 

PHASE 1 - Zul'jan

• Green orbs that explode at the end of the phase.  Get rid of them by aiming the tank frontal at them.  Each orb destroyed puts a stacking DoT on the raid.

• Green orbs can also be picked up and then dropped next to another, making it easier to remove by the frontal.

• Large green swirly that needs to be group soaked - it then explodes covering a large area.  Place on the edge and then run away.

PHASE 2 - Hex Lord Malacrass

• He mind controls several players who then try to jump off the platform.  DPS them to break them out of the MC.

• Each MC you break spawns two ghosts that fixate random targets.  Can't be damaged or CC'd.  Stop them moving by looking at them.  Destroy them with tank frontal.  Get them close, stacked, so the purple tank frontal kills them.

• Boss gets a shield and starts casting .. break shield, interrupt cast.

INTERMISSION

• Zul'jan is resurrected and healed, but takes 100% increased damage.  Bloodlust.

PHASE 3

• Combination of P1 and P2.
